HR Operations and Payroll Specialist

As an HR Operations and Payroll Specialist, you will:
- Prepare and process employment contracts, addenda, certificates, and other employment-related documents;
- Collect and verify payroll data and act as the liaison between employees and our payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate salary processing;
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies;
- Administer employee benefits such as medical subscriptions, meal vouchers, bonuses, and additional leave days;
- Actively participate in the budget planning process for salary costs and regularly update forecast files in collaboration with the Finance team
- Build, maintain, and analyze salary grids, ensuring consistency across roles and levels while aligning with internal benchmarks and external market data
- Stay up to date with Romanian labor legislation and ensure its correct application within company processes and policies;
- Support internal HR audits and labor inspections by preparing and delivering the required documentation;
- Keep internal HR databases and digital records accurate, complete, and GDPR-compliant;
- Assist in drafting and updating HR policies, internal regulations, and procedures;
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and Office Management teams on employee lifecycle and HR operational processes.
What about you?
- You have at least 3-4 years of experience in an HR Admin, People Operations, or similar role;
- Solid knowledge of Romanian labor legislation and payroll processes;
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially;
- Proactive and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment;
- Fluent in Romanian and English, both written and spoken;
- Proficient in Google Workspace.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with digital document management systems;
- Previous experience in a tech, IT, or fast-paced company environment;
- Labor law courses and HR admin certifications.
