As a Business Development Team Lead, you will:
Lead and Empower (People Management):
Coach & Mentor: Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 3, helping them achieve their targets and grow professionally;
Strategic Alignment: Translate company business goals into actionable sales strategies for your team;
Collaboration: Foster a high-performance culture based on trust and accountability.
Conquer New Territories (Business Development):
Market Expansion: Proactively identify and penetrate new market segments and "greenfield" territories;
Relationship Architect: Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level stakeholders and key decision-makers;
Leverage Internal Expertise: Partner closely with Pre-sales, Support, and Delivery teams to create winning technical and commercial proposals;
Strategic Networking: Leverage your personal network and industry presence to generate high-quality leads;
Lead Qualification: Use the MEDDICC framework to qualify opportunities and ensure a healthy, realistic pipeline;
Complex Negotiations: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for complex, large-scale IT projects, from initial contact to closing.
Drive Internal Operations:
Cross-functional Synergy: Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, and Finance to deliver optimal value and ensure smooth contract onboarding;
Reporting & Impact: Track progress in HubSpot CRM and communicate market insights and business impact to the Board and Business Line Directors.
What about you?
Experience: At least 7-8 years of experience in IT Sales or Business Development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership/management role;
Market Mastery: A thorough understanding of the Romanian IT market and software services ecosystem;
The Hunter Mindset: Proven track record of opening new accounts and winning business in competitive environments;
Interpersonal Excellence: Highly developed influencing, networking, and negotiation skills;
Process-Oriented: Experience using CRM tools and structured sales methodologies (like MEDDICC);
Communication: Advanced level of written and verbal English.
