As a Legal Adviser you will:
- Support the organization by performing legal and administrative tasks requiring knowledge of legal provisions, documents and procedures;
- Assist company departments in obtaining various authorizations, licenses, permits, and certificates from relevant authorities, in compliance with applicable legal requirements;
- Represent the company and safeguard its rights and interests before authorities, agencies, and other public or private entities;
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance principles by advising on best practices, monitoring adherence to governance policies, and supporting the preparation and management of board and committee meetings;
- Support the company during audits or inspections carried out by state authorities and other entities;
- Analyze contracts and agreements that the company intends to enter into;
- Prepare, organize, update, and archive documents generated by the Legal Department, as well as other relevant records;
- Provide advice on regulations related to data processing and personal data protection (GDPR);
- Conduct legal counseling activities, perform research, manage court case files and maintain proper communication with clients;
- Draft responses to inquiries and/or complaints;
- Participates in drafting all internal and compliance procedures in the legal and data protection areas;
- Actively takes part in all activities involving labor law matters, such as (amendments to the Internal Regulations, adaptations and revisions of internal procedures, resolution of employment disputes, etc.);
- Maintain communication with involved parties, departments, and colleagues.
What about you?
- Strong understanding of the legal system, labor law, competition law, telecommunications regulations, and other relevant corporate laws, including public procurement and GDPR;
- Ability to communicate effectively under pressure or adversity, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills (including presentation and facilitation abilities);
- Self-motivated, clear thinker, strong communicator, and team player capable of working independently under pressure, as well as collaboratively;
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle sensitive and confidential information;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address ambiguous situations;
- Proven ability to take a long-term, proactive approach to achieving strategic business objectives;
- Effective in dynamic, fast-paced environments;
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure high-quality, timely completion;
- Strong influencing skills: ability to work without direct authority and build lasting relationships with key partners/stakeholders;
- Innovative mindset with a talent for finding creative solutions to complex problems.
- High attention to detail and legal administrative skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in Law;
- Previous experience in a similar role for at least 5 years in a similar position in a technology company;
- Proficiency in conducting research and utilizing various research methodologies;
- Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English and Romanian;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace;
- Solid understanding of the telecommunications sector and relevant regulations.
